Billiards that is played on a table with six pockets and uses 22 balls (15 red, six of various colors and one white); the goal is to alternately pocket the red balls and the colored balls.

black ball

Ball that is worth seven points; it is placed on the billiard spot.

pink ball

Ball that is worth six points; it is placed on the pyramid spot.

blue ball

Ball that is worth five points; it is placed on the center spot.

cue ball

White ball the player hits with the cue to hit the other balls and pocket them; it is the only ball that may be hit with the cue.

green ball

Ball that is worth three points; it is placed to the left of the "D", with respect to the head cushion.

red balls

Balls that are worth one point each. At the start of the game, they are arranged in a triangle behind the pink ball; as long as the player has not pocketed all the red balls, the colored balls are placed back on the table in their original spots.

yellow ball

Ball that is worth two points; it is placed to the right of the "D", in relation to the head cushion.

brown ball

Ball that is worth four points; it is placed on the balk line spot.
